MMT Maxi Fusion
The Thermo-Fusion Energy project by McConnell Moran Technology Corporation aims to generate clean, waste-free electricity through controlled thermo-fusion. This innovative technology produces energy by fusing atoms at high temperatures, without the need for carbon fuels, radioactive materials, or harmful byproducts.
A prototype was developed and tested in 2022 proving the technology at 40 kW. The project is currently being scaled up to a 500-kW unit for residential, commercial, and industrial applications with future iterations of MEGS units planned for 1.5 MW, 3.5 MW, 5 MW and beyond in years to come. The potential impact on the clean energy sector is significant, offering a green alternative to traditional power sources globally.
